Cole is quite doubtful, untrusting and (feeling) inferior to Alex. I think (even though it’s fucked up) what happened with Brad gave him that feeling that Alex isn’t with him for pity or just sex. He is desirable and he knows that Alex is already desirable thus making Cole feel more deserving of their relationship. Alex, on the other hand, has been with lots of empty relationships that made him feel “too perfect” for his own good. He wanted to feel human and Cole made him feel exactly that. You know what guys? No one is perfect. I’ve been in the exact same position and I know sinners are sinners, angels are angels but that part of the story is just a sick filler chapter to be followed with a climactic character development.
(I am more like a Lilly though.. i’ll mess you up real good and you won’t know what’s coming hahha it’s nice to say this online where no one will really know who i am lol )
