First off with chapter 2, my only main gripes about the differences is its mentioned Dane KOd Grayson with pheromones but never got to see Dane’s face. As far as I know from the translation Grayson only smelled Dane but never saw him. Secondly, we didn’t get to see Grayson get yeeted out of the burning building with Dane tossing his body around like a sack of potatoes RIP, he did not give ANY fucks about him while the building was burning down he tosswd that mfer out the window.
Ch 3. Yippeee I’m glad we got to see Ashley and Koi talk about Grayson. And the grayson support group for the break up group has been established teehee. Also I’m so happy the lady firefighters are so BEEFED UP AND MUSCLED. Love it girlies. I hope we get cameos of them doing their job as they arent mentioned much when actual firefighting work is done.
Ch. 4 - my only gripe so far has been Darling’s appearance (Danes cat) she is supposed to be a bit ugly and survived a fire previously that Dane rescued her from, in Kiss me Liar and this one she still hasnt been what I imagined, I wish she looked a bit more scraggly and old, maybe bits of fur not fully grown back because of her previous fire damage to her body. I mean it made her blind and deaf she should look a bit more scraggly. They keep making her look too pretty >.< But Dane loving her regardless of her appearance is my favorite part about her. Oh well.

Maybe its a translation difference.

I hope he looks older when we see him in the present because he still looks very young at that flashback, but canonically he should be around mid to late 50s, since he only got pregnant with the first son when he was 28/29. The twins were born like that. Grayson's eyes were always purple, his eyes were open when Ash first saw him. And it looks like the author retcons that Larien was born like that too, or did she just forgot that she wasn't? Don't know.
But at least Nathaniel's and Chase's ( and actually Larien) should have been blue. Iirc in the Kiss me if you can manhwa adaption, the flashback of Chase as a child, he wasn't manifested back then, don't know why they gave him purple eyes instead of blue ones.

Honestly I think ZIG just never really fleshed out their worldbuilding and kind of does a “fuck it we ball” with their omegaverse , there are so many inconsistencies between novel adaptions, doesnt help that the only legal license of them (with kiss me liar/kiss me if you can) have been with wordexcerpt and even those they lost the licenses to, so now all we got are a bunch of different translations, and I can’t read korean and MTL is a hit or miss in its own way that cant carry nuisances over.
So first off, every omegaverse has their own rules about omegas; can they only give birth? Are they fully sterile and only shoot blanks once they manifest as omegas, or can they be omegas and still have kids (without birthing them themselves) - i’ve read all types of omegaverse so there are soooo many options so i’mma crack theory all the theories until we are given the “rules” of this omegaverse
For namesake imma make MC - bottom and ML - the top even if we kinda get both their POVs making this a deuteragonist story anyway
1) first theory MC has always been an omega but SOOOOO recessive he barely had any scent, classic shit, cuz the ML smelled it when he was still in high school - meaning this is a world where omegas arent shooting blanks and can still give birth (without being the one to birth it)
2) ML could sense the MC manifesting VERY late, or something, and after MC had a kid with his wife, he fully manifested - which leads to the divorce because they can’t have kids anymore (leading into the - omegas are sterile after they manifest unless they are birthing themselves - which might explain why ML went all alpha on the MC after he smelled the unknown scent after MC met his wife, if she was also an omega… now they can’t have kids anymore and ex wife wanted more kids maybe? - orrrr she found her “destined bonded partner” if this IS a type of omegaverse that has that type of bonding trope, and she being an omega found an alpha and MC and her divorced because she found her true mate)
3) MC is NOW manifesting after the ML moved in and is constantly sleeping with ML - and the pheromones are transforming MC into an omega now, and soon MC is going to start smelling the pheromones around him. Probably will comment on how someone “smells” and not realize its pheromones and then boom gets retested and realized he changed after being in intimate contact with ML for so long
I like the first theory, cause its never truly been proven that they shoot blanks imo, just hasn't been the topic of any story that they were tops to do that.

I know these are side stories, but I really appreciate this is turning into a lil min season in its own way, it’s always a main gripe of mine that romances (omegaverse especially) with mpreg usually end with the kid being born, and like maybe 2-3 chapters of post birth at best, and then either just a big time skip to show the kids as adults onto their own stories or just ends at a happy ending. But i want to see them struggling with parenthood and especially this case… the mortality issue.
