This is actually so healing after ORV author butchered novel to webtoon adaption

Elaborate? I havent read it in so long i was thinking of re reading but i was wondering if it's still worth it

I dropped it because the author is scared of making Yoo Joonghyuk and Kim Dokja look gay,like not including imp dialogues and butchering their whole dynamic, it's like the author is trying to pander towards dude bros,the webtoon has turned shit and Yoo Joonghyuk and Kim Dokja doesn't even feel like themselves,u can find more on Twitter

Can't be completely sure because I haven't read most of ORV but I feel like this manhwa doesn't NOT do justice to the dynamics. I mean look at how the pink yarn scene was drawn that's blatantly something for sure

Yeah that's what I am saying, the censorship and rewriting the scenes has been done with this story as well.
That pink yarn scene was so bland compared to how it was in novel and somewhere I feel like this is affecting their character's personality as well .
Like the novel yoojin is definitely more depressed and all regarding this issue.

Whatttt I haven't reach that part yet in the novel,I thought this manhwa was doing a great job adapting the novel,I know manhwa and novel cannot be adapted exactly the same but why do author always miss imp scenes and butcher character dynamics ,I will now finish the novel first and then read this manhwa

I am not saying it was totally bland but compared to novel yeah it was , in novel they both were having serious conversation while yoojin was back hugged by SJH . The manhwa turned into a funny moment, that tension all just disappeared from that scene

it was terribly done they have butchered everything that made their relationship special and added way too much slapstick humor to make it seem less serious than it is- so many scenes were just cut or made to look less important by turning them into chibi or have weird faces. they didn't even get the basic characterisation of the main character right, in that sense the orv webtoon is doing much better.

OH WHAT THE FUCK A WHOLE BACKHUG ? okay so should i be reading the novel from the start... i lowkey skipped to where the current parts have been. i will say even without having read most of the novel counterparts so far i do feel like so much of it is too slapstick-y in general dang. but i kind of do like this yoojin thats a little goofy and self depricating humor dude, i hope that bit is still kind of there?

You should definitely read novel, it has many scenes which were removed from webtoon or overwritten during the adaption.

ya agree with the other person he was def abused like that scene where the father is saying he likes how obedient go do-hoon is, he's just pushing around the brother ++ he also is/was addicted to drugs and i think the reason he was mean towards go do-hoon was pressure put on him by his father to be the heir of the family conglomerate. and also i think they rekindle when they get older (the brother and go do-hoon) cuz when yuwon picks up the go do-hoon's phone he says it was his brother.

ahh gotcha, i do remember reading something about drugs. just the jacking off scene threw me off
