This genre of historical drama has turned to shit the past years but this is probably one the most compelling works to come out of it. It’s so satisfying to see actual character development where the characters faults aren’t dismissed by a tragic backstory. There’s literally I hand from a chapter that has 6 fingers and the dress from chapter 4 is all ruffles no dress. It’s pretty obvious from art style as well, this is typical AI generated manga sketches. Plus there’s no consistency in the pupils and highlights in the eyes.
