I was a bit scared that it's was gonna be one of those stories with "love at first sight" (not a fan of those, because being attracted to their body/face is completely different from genuinely loving them. So I'm glad it was acknowledge he only liked the body at the beginning and started loving him after more meetings.
Comments say how cute/beautiful story is and here i am not understanding this confession in ch2, it felt rushed/random without any proper built up.
I literally had to go back and reread to actually find anything and i barely saw indication of him catching feeling but didn't found him actually realizing those feelings.
So yeah for me story pre-confession too rushed, but after it wasn't bad - 3/5
spoiler alert for anyone starting this manga!
for me it felt like he was already attracted to honjou-san from the beginning (e.g. the contrast between his first impression reaction toward honjou vs honjou's senpai) and when honjou said that he swings both ways that further intensified his attraction(?) since he actually has a shot at dating honjou-san
also he saw how capable honjou-san is and admired him in ch.2 before getting kinda jealous of honjou's senpai friend since he saw how honjou looked at his friend, then honjou's care for him probably made him realize on the spot (and to me it seems like once he knows what he's feeling, he'll get it across to the other person, quoting kippei from Ch.5 how would the other person know if he didn't say it?) so imo the confession made sense to me!
(ok it's almost 6 am so that may also have to do with it sorry for the long reply ahah)
When i wrote that, i meant a few things that made it feel like it was rushed for me.
First kippei was in the relationship at the start, there was no indication he was unhappy in it, so if he felt more then being thankfull to honjou then it only shows he also can easily fall for some else in he's current relationship.
Second the whole cheating part, he caught his (ex) boyfriend cheating who he seemed to actually love, and he moved on instantly, hello?? Outside of few tears the whole thing was forget.
Third the confection, he was working there for a week, then he was cheated on and few days later he confesses (to me it's screams raplacment).
And after that they had separated for few months with no contact because for some reason non of them thought about exchanging numbers. So for those few months the only thing they had to rely on to love each other more was limited informations they provided throughout few days(not even whole month because they didn't talk every day) of knowing each other or imagination.... They could have spend those months talking, learning more about each other, falling more in love and then after some time reunite face to face, but nooo because not talking (when nothing stops you) is more romantic (¬_¬)
I'm on chapter 54 and i hate main couple, to much second hand emberessment (i literally skipped so much chapters and i still don't feel like i missed anything), with seme being hated for honesty i won't be surprised if he starts being honest less and less, especially
(accidently post it before finishing)
...especially about his emotions, because he need someone who help him with those, even more now when he starting to feel them too much, which will be really difficult for seme considering he never felt them this much, and uke right know is not helping, he makes things worse. Uke emotional personality is only a little bit about crying and being empathic, and is mostly about "i won't listen to truth because i will interpreted differentlly and then i will blame everyone else but me if i get hurt because i know better". And all that in 54 CHAPTERS, like i stoped belive it will be better, they both need to go to freaking therapy. So im probably abandon this story, because the only thing that keeps me wanting to read is second couple and im scared autor will give them unnecessary drama after all ukes insecurities about break up (kinda valid, but still could have been resolved by simple talk. That's all i need to vent my frustration. (But i'll be glad if someone tell how much more stupid drama so i can either continue or stop reading)

I have a question. I read the first chapter and i really don't like how casually they talk about incest, from comments i understand there's no actual incest couples but i still feel uncomfortable considering he wants to write one based of himself and his family and he said that so casually...... So i really need to know exactly how many times incest is mantion and what type (because i hate romanticized incest or "they grew up as family and saw eachother as family" incest even if they not biologically related (they graw up as family, they are family)), the other incest type i can tolerate to some degree.
But if there too much metion of the type i hate i might as well give up so I won't have to feel uncomfortable.
Well the entire story is as the title says...a family full of fudanshi. The main point of the story mainly is bl and all part of bl including forbidden dark romance works etc. so there is going to be talks about those type of theme in a casual light and if you're already uncomfortable by the first chapter, it's better you probably don't continue lol
Thank you but yeah I don't mind this theme if it's acually depicted as dark/problematic but when it's romanticized/casual it's a no
hmm hard to say when they stopped talking about the incest troupe (even though it really wasnt a route and more of a gag)
by the mid seasons they eventually introduced love interests for both brothers, and the incest stuff was reduced into sakura being protective of his brother because their dad isn't really stepping up on the yang protective masculine energy that the brother felt the need to step up instead
(at least, that's what i interpret on their family dynamic. take my word with a grain of salt but i do feel the need to tell you that this story is a gem and the brocon jokes were just gags for japanese fans.)
