Basically, the story is about two childhood friends who eventually become generals. During a war, one of them sacrifices his life to save the main character.

Years later, the main character has a biological son and adopts two children, a son and a daughter. As the adopted son grows older, he develops feelings for the main character. However, the main character is eventually poisoned by his biological son. Later, they find out that the biological son never actually meant to kill him.

Even so, the main character dies. He is then reincarnated as his biological son because his son had sacrificed his own life for him. At first, the adopted son doesn’t believe that the main character has really been reincarnated as his brother, but he eventually accepts it.

Much later, they start searching for the biological son’s soul and discover that he had actually been reincarnated 50 years ago. When they finally reunite, the biological son is already an old man, and he eventually dies.

After his death, they discover one final twist: the adopted son is actually the reincarnation of the main character’s childhood friend, the general who sacrificed his life to save him during the war.
