Coltons dad is Dylan’s partner
so Dylan is kinda like coltons step father in a way
Dylan knew Colton since Colton was still a little boy
When Colton was a kid his mom passed away. Which made his dad was extremely depressed and turned into a toxic person
His dad is a lecture/professor and Dylan was one of his students (rough translation from the raws) that’s how Dylan met and knew the dad.
Dylan went to comfort coltons dad (When the wife passed away). They eventually get together (toxic relationship)
Dylan most likely loves the dad but he likes having Colton chasing after him probably because Colton looks so much like the dad and is a healthier version of what that dad could have been/ what the dad might’ve been like before his wife (coltons mom) passed away
So on one hand Dylan wants to meet coltons partner (Damon) because he’s known Colton since he was a child and is also like coltons step dad.
But on the other hand Dylan is clingy with Colton (not yet sure whether Dylan himself is aware of this) it’s not yet revealed whether Dylan is just clingy with Colton because he’s projecting/substituting Colton for the dad/he’s lonely and doesn’t want to lose coltons love/ or whether he is Secretly interested/ in love with Colton

I’m throwing this one in for laughs, so this part is just my own thoughts- it would be funny if Dylan likes Damon or what if later on in the plot he flirts with Damon to get coltons attention back. I’d wanna see how that would turn out
