“super basic side hetero couple” yet you don’t know their story yet? i’ve read full 30-40 chapter comics of what I would describe as “basic MAIN gay couple” where it was allll long and drawn-out drama. I think this artist/author is doing a really good job with storytelling and it’ll be a fun read either way. The entire story is adorable and I fully support these characters just as much as the main two. I actually think stories with side characters that aren’t just “faceless friend #1 that sometimes asks main character if they wanna walk home after school in the game but gets denied” are stronger than those that implement that trope.
And why does everything have to be gay vs hetero? Why can’t well done romance just be well done romance?

But I do know their story because I read the Korean raws for their arc and it's the same exact hetero timeline for every other straight pair I've seen in the history of ever. The main gay couple is fluff - no drama whatsoever - and it's a trope I haven't seen in manhwas before.
