The art is beautiful, but the story... Just sucks. I actually hate Jiho. I've encountered so many people exactly like him irl over the years and all they've brought was trouble. I used to empathize heavily with this type of person, I had similar sentiments and was also a part of the art scene. However, it became apparent to me over time how soul-sucking, selfish and ego-centric this type of person is. Simply because they can't see themselves for what they are. Some will heal, most won't and it's a sad reality. They're chronic users, can't feel sorry for anyone except themselves. They're manipulative, controlling and are constantly trying too hard to seem more deep than they actually are to cover up the fact that they hate themselves and don't know how to stop. Their woe-is-me lifestyles are the only thing keeping them interesting not only to themselves but to draw others in. It's exhausting. The concept of the mc having close connections to death is very creative, but unfortunately I think it's just birthed something thats hard to stomach and will likely only be a story of toxicity. Maybe Jiho will become more likeable but I've read so many stories like this before and have seen it happen IRL that I know where it's likely headed. Hopefully others will be able to enjoy it more than me.
