Reading this was the best decision I made for the whole week! Worth staying up until 4:30 a.m. to finish this masterpiece.
It's been a long journey looking for a manhwa that would make me cry, yearn, and root for the main leads.
Introduced a refreshing concept that made me beg for something cliché to happen just so they wouldn't part (ToT)
Anyways, summing it up— It was a good read. Just what I was looking for, and how I wanted it. Didn't get bored with it + IT HAD EPILOGUES (I was waiting for their children LMFAOOO)
Praying to the heavens that I find a book as good or better than this
This is me just venting about the story, please skip if you do not want to read my vents or raw thoughts
Let me get this straight, ML seriously needs to give FL some space.
I get that ML has trauma and that there were a lot of misunderstandings at the start of their marriage, but his response was just frustrating. FL kept trying to reach out, explaining her side and he constantly pushed her away.
It’s even worse because it was stated that he fell in love at first sight, yet he refused to acknowledge his feelings and harbored hatred towards her because of the aunt's false accusation of FL killing ML's brother. Instead of communicating, he let misunderstandings pile up because he chose to believe false accusations. His judgment was completely clouded by anger and guilt. He knew what was happening in their home but stayed distant while FL was struggling and desperately trying to connect with him.
[ And the fact that he thought they had a connection because he saw loneliness in her eyes, yet never even tried to talk about it with her?? Like, come on It was a big giveaway that something ain't right. ]
Now, after regaining his memories, FL’s fallout was completely understandable. (If it were me, I would’ve been out of there the moment he lost his memories, way too uncomfortable situation fr.) And that was the moment he finally decided to listen to her and start changing. (Alright, good, he listened and understands now why she responded like that. But he's too late for that now, he already caused too much damage.)
I get that trauma influenced his actions, but he should still be held accountable since he immensely damaged FL with how he handled the situation. But when FL made it clear that she resents him, he still insisted on meeting with her and explaining his side, even when that’s not what she needed. He keeps trying to “fix” things, but all he’s doing is making it worse. What they need is space, time apart to heal and grow individually before even thinking about reconnecting. Pushing a relationship will only hurt them more. Glad FL understood and ran away for a change of scenery. Hoping the ML would understand that their trauma affects their relationship and that they should both work on it before continuing with their lives.
(Personally think ML ain't for FL tho...
THIS, exactly this, he needs to leave her alone, he is hurting that much is true, but he needs to understand he is the source of a lot of her hurt as well. They are not good for eachother in any way. The way he chased her down like an animal after she tried to get away from her hell and he just ended up dragging her back.

Please read this on Webtoon to support the author ♡〜(ゝ。∂) It’s also posted for free there :)
I absolutely adore the concept here!!! First time reading a fantasy story where they use a whole new concept instead of magic, qi, or whtv measurements they commonly use—loving it so far! Definitely a good read and something worth marinating. Hoping a lot more people would stumble upon this gem
Oh yeah, I always go through the uploads there and heart every chapter along with scrolling through the whole thing because webtoon knows how far you’ve gone through an episode. I’m only reading it here because I’m impatient…
