tbh, they’d better not write this off as a polyamorous rl, the love triangle would be a great story plot. If the author does, I would immediately think they only did it cuz they wanna include their kinks in their work. Writing is already bad enough to feel as if the characters are very fucking bland what else can they add to make this story worst?
The author has some of the most questionable takes when it comes to writing and showing character depth. I rlly did not like how she let hyesung’s trauma slide so easily (eg. hyesung being raped by dojin and hyesungs trauma with his mom just for dojin to go behind his back)
I sometimes think about how she’s very biased when it comes to this. Especially since most often than not dojin is received by the audiences in this positive light, and hyesung a tad bit negative.
Now I’m seeing another trend of ppl always misjudging characters. Yes siwoo is very wrong for that. But I took this in the context that they’re both are very hormonal teens/pre-adult. Making this questionable yes but very much ..real? (Ik not all will agree) but he is so obviously infatuated with byul and try did repress it for a long time, so personally I did see this happening.
Now I am personally not fond of byul, not only is he insensitive and he is also avoidant .
I hope she makes this story better, I hope this doesn’t get to the point where she writes byul getting sexually assaulted and then slides it off after a few chapters cuz “they’re in love” im so sick of that shit.
This chapter seems to upset a lot of people, especially the ones who are still angry about the whole hyesung’s mom situation.
Tbh the only thing I can say is, I get it. Maybe it’s the way my culture views mothers, but most often than not issues like what happened to hyesung is looked past upon, since she did literally gave birth to him. And honestly the way people are mad towards dojin, but when u literally read the Manhwa, he literally sympathized with his mother because he realized she was just in the same situation as he put hyesung in. If yall can’t understand that he views hyesungs mom as someone he sympathizes and respects, then u need to actually be more fucking realistic. Sorry not sorry! ╮(￣▽￣)╭
