i don't really get people who hate melissa because of how she reacts and behaves. she's sick and tired of the toxic masculinity in the original novel and how women were seen as the inferior gender that she became like that. it's not her fault, but the patriarchal system's, on why she thinks or behaves like that. it's her way of protecting herself. and i really applaud the author of this manhwa for making melissa an imperfect character. she can be a badass queen and step on all of her enemies, but she's still human who also makes mistakes and can be immature at times. i just love melissa even more.
