Did the author forget about that plot point or did I miss the explanation? Several times in Wooseung’s past it’s implied that he’s an outcast at school, that he got accused of something but it’s never explained what it is.
I’m pretty sure it was because he was gay.
I’m looking for a story I read and unfortunately I only remember one detail of it and that’s the two main characters get on a train together and leave their small town behind. I’m fairly certain they basically decide to leave before they’re done with school because they’re anxious to start their lives together; they may also be trying to escape homophobia but I’m not super certain on that .
I thought it was this manga at first, but I know the two characters don’t come back like they do in this one. It’s driving me nuts and I’m wondering if I just imagined it.
I finally found it. It’s called Smile by Penguin Frontier.
