came here after reading the novel and found out there's a manga with even more chapters. i was so bummed about keita and the implication that the mom schemed it all, but im glad the manga said fuck you to that plot lmao
idk if you've read the novel or not so it's spoiler, but in the novel it's left ambiguous about the identity of the corpse from the second house, and the mc's friend kinda heavily insinuated that the wife's mom really did plan it all out to get revenge on the family while sacrificing keita for her plans, including even allegedly faking a letter from keita. which is such a bummer for me personally, especially since i liked keita bc if we trust the letter, he actually cared for momoya (the cursed boy is called this in the novel)
despite the many, many, many warnings and disclaimers in the beginning of each chapter, and still read this only to complain about it.... it's meant to be a bad ending kinda story. it's a whump that is heavy on hurt and barely comfort at all. it's a fucked up story just for entertainment. if you're not into that, just leave.
im a bit disappointed the manga didnt include the funniest part after the confession, where she woke up, realizing she married adi, and then ran around the house telling people she married him, and then she calmed down and then adi came and was like did you shout at the whole house that we're married????? LMAO
i hope this manga also follows its brethren and gets an anime adaptation, amen
wont spoil about how the talk with their parents go but afterwards kotani is so smitten and there's this part where shishikura wanted to cook so naturally he put on an apron and kotani just essentially went "nah forget cooking, you're my dinner" LMAO not to mention when they do the biting claim ^__T they're so cute i hope there's vol. 3

and i love every second of it. I can't look away. i want to read more. it's so bad that it's so good.
