To be honest, I'm quite conflicted about Ryou (the seme's cousin)... I know that if we actually met, and I somehow am one of the people in his good radar, he would be a good person. A lot of people hate those who aren't perfect all the way so Ryou is a no go to most of y'all. That being said, he is only dangerous when his actions aren't getting through to the people who are in his good radar, apart from that, he doesn't generalise the bad actions. (The why he planned a gang rape is still beyond my understanding, my theory is that he wants Sano to stop him... But even that is pulled by the strings) That scene was relevant to the plot, true, yet unjustified as to why Ryou did it. I honestly think there needs to be way more explanations in Ryou's story because right here, this work, can only make us conflicted.
Seichi/seiji (the seme) is... Good. Very good in fact. He has the right amount of mellow and obssession. I feel so bad for what he went through, he deserved peace yet the way the story is going means he won't have that for a couple of years, until he settles stuff with the Ashiya family.
Nanao (the uke) has a character that I can understand. Like... He believes everything that's said to him, it played a role in making this story, well, angsty. But I would have loved seeing a character development where he learns to verify people's intentions and arguments. With that personality, it'd be difficult but as someone who know people like him, I'll feel anxious until the day he learns how to properly listen and process.
