I've lost count on how many times I've read this series, it's one of my all time favorites, and I must say, this author really has an amazing artstyle, you don't see an entire story with artwork like this often. It's clean, beautiful and also mature. Personally, I prefer it if the characters look like actual adults, I don't like the overly cute artstyle that a lot of mangas have, so yeah, this is great.

God, every time I see his grandma, I just feel like crying because it hits so close to home

Personally, I loved the story up until the point where they added the third child and that huge time jump happened, ever since then it has been kinda chaotic and I've lost interest in it. I still read the chapters where the main couple, Cinian and Cheng, and their two little sons, Wowo and Douding, are the main focus but everything else, I just skip

Man, fuck Hozu. He had a choice and he chose to let that happen to Yuhto, even though he knew what happened to Matthew. That old ass bitch only cares about himself.

So, there are a lot of things to discuss here. Karino never was that great of a person (but this is not that kind of story anyway) but I'm sure I can speak for many people when I say chapter 30 really hit different. I've read (official material) that it's supposed to end next year, with a "happy" ending, whatever that means. If it means that Karino and Azusa are going to be together, I wonder how Ogawa is going to "fix" this mess, that means, if she does intend on fixing it, instead of just leaving it as a twisted relationship because again, this is that kind of story, but there also are rather "sweet" moments.

Then there is Eno, who's intentions aren't quite clear yet. He seems to have taken an interest in Karino and Azusa (this was already hinted at, when he met Azusa in the school bathroom and Azusa told him that he's different from the rest and his position in the game doesn't affect who he is as a person) but we don't really know why or what his goal is. I don't think he is interested in Karino, as in wanting to have an actual relationship with him, I think he just enjoys chaos and stepping on others. Maybe we will get a little background information about him, maybe not, we'll see. Not that that's going to change much anyway. Even if you've had a hard life, kinda causing this kind of behavior, that doesn't excuse your actions towards others. Azusa is really upset with Karino (as he should be) and Karino is kinda absent (which we can especially see when he's with Eno), but they're both doing worse, in their personal and school life.

In chapter 31, we can see that there is a new student who knows Azusa and they seem to be getting along, so I'm interested in how their relationship is going to develop and what that means for Karino.

Then there also is that whole mystery involving the teacher who appeared in chapter 10 and became sexually interested in Azusa. It was implied that he wanted to join the game himself, in order to be able to do whatever he wants with Azusa, but we haven't seen him since, so that also leaves some open questions. I hope Ogawa didn't just forget about him, that would be a bummer, not because I want him to return (Azusa's life is already in pieces anyway), but because of story writing. Building a character up like that and then never have him appear again is just kinda "lame", as some like to say.

As for who Azusa should end up with, or if he even should end up with anyone in the first place, to be honest, I don't know. I haven't heard many people say this, so I would like to mention it, but I personally think of the idea of Azusa and Atsumu as a couple and since I can't stand Kuze anyway, them breaking up wouldn't bother me in the slightest.

Then there is the relationship with Senzaki and Tatsumi, which I honestly don't care about much but I've heard there was an extra chapter released that is supposed to be about them and April is currently working on translating it.

Juroo calling him a bitch is the most ironic thing ever, considering his own actions. He needs a (￣ε(#￣)Σ

I really wanted to see more of their relationship and it also annoyed me that their joint time was constantly interrupted. In the course of time the constant rage and the interference of the father are really annoying and disturb the story. I saw the anime and read the manga, but both could not really convince me. I understand that this is mainly about Chisato, but why do they show a relationship between Rijuu and Kakeru, but then interrupt them all the time? This does not make sense to me, because they have barely shown them being together, so they could have simply omitted these parts, instead of always making allusions, but then suddenly skip to a different pairing when it becomes interesting. Just my opinion. ╮(￣▽￣)╭
