SPOILERS below. i dunno if i got everything right thooo

basically damon and colton first met at liam’s bar when both of them were at rock bottom in their love lives. damon had just fallen out with minjae, and colton realized dylan was just using him.

they had messy heartbroken sex and both forgot about it, but damon remembered first.
then they met again at the professor’s exhibit, where colton said the iconic line, “you’re much more memorable than your art” (i swooned).

then they met again at colton’s art gallery. a lot happened, but the bottom line is colton thought damon harassed or took advantage of minjae, his employee, and took matters into his own hands by… um, having that dom/sub messy sex with damon lol. because of that, it was implied that damon couldn’t do what was supposed to be his art exhibit at the gallery, which severely hurt his reputation as an artist. colton felt responsible for that.

meanwhile damon, being a nasty little menace, decided to have fun with the situation and proposed the fwb deal.
