I was not expecting to enjoy this story as much as I did at first. I was so sure it would be a kind of slice of life story but then we got to their backstory and man…
The characters are so interesting. I feel so bad for both of them because the black dragon had never in his life been treated with such care and had never experienced friendship and as a creature full of hate and destruction he could not realize that what he was doing to Snow (and himself) was not right, plus he is kind of like a God so for him none of his actions were wrong.
I am sure black dragon can’t understand why he is hated so much (because in his twisted mind what he did was in the past and thus is forgotten). And then there is Snow who has to face someone he once loved but betrayed him so horrifyingly, his tormentor (of many many years) and the person that ate him (alive) while being asked to love him like he once did. As if all of those horrors he went through because of him did not matter. He is such a strong character just for standing his ground when he confronts him.
Can’t wait for the next season. Very excited to see how their story will move one (≧∀≦)
I feel so bad for him, at first I really liked the FL because it’s interesting to see the stereotypes of romance webtoons be inverted but the author did such a great job with Yeonwoo.
I used to be very shy when I was younger and have a lot of anxiety so his thoughts during the whole story are thoughts that I myself had had in the past. It really hit home. And now seeing him be treated like this by the FL is very painful. I feel so bad for him, he deserves somebody that cares about him and makes him feel loved.
One just doesn’t do what the FL did. Especially because she notices how earnest and happy Yeonwoo genuinly is about dating her and she is only half assing all of this. Gosh I feel extremely bad for him.
Finished reading and I’m blown away. The portrayal of this characters emotions and how trauma affects them was very realistic. People have different ways of dealing with their emotions and many times people who have been abused may be toxic. Not defending MC’s toxicity but prasing the author’s amazing work.
Also really like how they fought to overcome those insecurities and fears at a slow pace. I’m very glad that the author did not decide to simply cure all of the character’s issues just because they started dating but rather showed how this issues continue to grow and be a problem on a relationship.
The last chapter made my heart full because no matter the mistakes MC did he was just someone longing for a home and I’m glad he found it ヽ(;▽;)

Is it bad that I really couldn’t care less for this part of the story? I would be very happy for them to be away from the horrible mothers… I hate this kind of trope where family HAS to be united….
