So a while back I started reading this manhwa and I can only remember bits and pieces, if anyone knows the title I would very much appreciate it!

So I remember the mc was from a poorer family and ends up being sent away to help sort the royal library or something. He befriends the prince(?) and this causes controversy when discovered. The prince and him end up parting ways to get stronger I think, and that's all I can remember.
I think the mc was the son of a woodcutter, but had a strong affiliation for swords or magic or both idk. That might be a different manhwa.

I've been looking for this one forever, but I have so little to go on that it's just been impossible for me to find it. Its a webcomic (colored) i believe about a serial killer and this old man detective who is trying to find out who the murderer is. I don't remember much, but I'm pretty sure it was a more simplistic art style and the murderer was a young guy with black hair (which I now realize, typing this, is half of all main characters in webcomics). If it helps, I also remember a seen where the killer is in a room of bloody artwork. He also lived in an apartment.
