everyone has different ways of learning and remembering. for example, i primarily have a visual memory, so i also have a hard time remembering the names of most yaois - even ones that i love. perhaps you're like me and have a different style of learning/remembering.
also, there's the added difficulty of remembering japanese names when you don't even know japanese.
