I don't know why y'all hating the emperor. That's what he experienced even when he was still a child. Maybe he thought that, that's the way to fight for the succession. To prove that the last man standing is the strongest and will be able to protect themselves and the people he/she owned. Don't hate the emperor. Hate his ancestors instead since they're the one who started it.
