Omg!! I'm myself an Indian so please don't ever go blame the creator for this religious symbol. And it's not God of death, he is God of destruction. God of death in Indian mythology is Yamah and Shiva weilds the trayambagam and he's the God of destruction. People who are religious sentiment will get offended by this but the thing is any Indian especially Hindu people will get offended by anything. People in my country can't even use creative freedom because of people getting offended over their personal emotions.
