It's ironic how Yeonjin and Moonhyuk have such a deep emotional bond:
Yeonjin most likely fell for Moonhyuk at first sight (Moonhyuk being the first to make him feel emotions of 'enthusiasm')
Moonhyuk has only Yeonjin who'd fully love and accept him for his past (also a remembrance of the passing of his previous owner)
despite knowing this... their relationship is held together by none other than money
I totally agree, you can see they’re both interested in each other but it seems like they’re both trying to be cautious and prevent actual feelings from being a thing in the first place
Yea if it wasn't for money, these two wouldn't have a reason/excuse to be together. (Moonhyuk being an underground fighter and Yeonjin being the rich son of a successful company.)
Sad how money is their only genuine association keeping them together but also holding them back.
Yeonjin (the uke) has an agreement with his wife to take down Yeonjin's father. Yeonjin's wife agrees to this plan, as she looked up to Yeonjin's mother (who as shown in previous chapters, took her life because Yeonjin's father was neglectful to her and cheated on her). Simply put, Yeonjin's wife wanted to take revenge for Yeonjin's mother.
Yeonjin and his son are important to Yeonjin's father (the old-looking man), as they are future successors of the company. Yeonjin and his wife's plan is for Yeonjin to end his own life as a way to ruin Yeonjin's father's masterplan (so he has no more successors). Prior to Yeonjin's death, they will divorce as a part of their plan.
HOWEVER... Moonhyuk (the seme) says he will prevent this unfortunate ending from occuring. [Perhaps, he will prevent Yeonjin from ending his own life]
