Strict parents like that are the reason children never wants to go home. I would stay away too.
If I had parents that told me to uphold myself as a young lady just because my so called ancestors were nobles, and I couldn't talk to any boy until whenever is just bs. Mind you, they also have a son that can do whatever he wants. This type of family looks at the boy as he is the sun in their eyes and the daughter has to put up with the constant bs from the parents.
Mind you again, she gets beaten from her father maybe for being late, getting bad grades, or if her mom catches her walking home with a boy.
This family is suffocating and I would stay away for the rest of my life.
On the last note, the fact that she stayed away for a week, and her parents aren't even worried but just pissed, proves that they don't love her imo
