sunhwa was getting hates for being a bitch on the early chapters but he's actually a diva, like idk how to explain but mokyeon isn't a girls girl iykyk
The only time Sunhwa deserved to be hated was when he mentioned outing Nanjo. Sure, he used Nanjo, but without that, there wouldn't even be a story we enjoy so much to begin with haha
People shame him for his body count as if Mokyeon wasnt the same, or even worse. Hes been a better friend to Mokyeon than Mokyeon has ever been to him because, lets be real, Mokyeon was so ready to cut Sunhwa off in Season 1
isn't this already completed in the raws? any spoilers?
From what I’ve heard from other comments, the blonde guy ,I guess kind of like hooked up with the black hair dude ,
and black haired dude forgot about the interaction so blonde hair got kinda got obsessed with him and a little upset so he kidnapped him.
I’m not sure if what I’m saying is entirely correct but I do remember that blonde hair was crazier and everyone thought black hair did something really awful but he really didn’t in the end so yeah.
Is that something you translated from the raws? Because I remember seeing very different reasoning when I saw the raws. The bottom is truly just a psycho. The plot explained how the bottom had a messed up view of love ever since he was a child. They made out once while mc was drunk, and he has no memory of it. The bottom was bothered by how mc just went on with his life not remembering it. He just wanted mc to himself.
That’s also what many others read from the raws if you check the previous comments
Okay I rechecked, these are the actual spoilers. The belief that the bottom did it as revenge for the Noona is incorrect. These are from chapter 33+
When mc asked him why he did this to him. He said “I did it cause I like you. If you had said I love you, I might have fucked you once and let you go.”
Backstory of childhood: The family sought professional help, they said “he has a tendency to be obsessed with what he wants.” He didn’t want his sitter to leave, so he put something in their drink (a herb). His family is also rich and he grew up loved by everyone.
Then here’s the backstory of how he became aware of mc. He heard of mc from the mc’s sister, and saw him around school, hearing about his terrible personality and his multiple switches in gfs. He started to have dreams of him and at first he tried to resist. But then one day he thought, “I think of you everyday. You don’t have any interest in me. I have to endure, it’s unfair. You did something wrong. If you were a good person, I wouldn’t have thought of doing this.”
So he really is a psycho deep down. He tried to rationalize it.
100% sure it’s Stockholm syndrome. He abused, raped, and locked mc up in a dark room multiple times. He basically mind broke him. MC basically is terrified to be alone now and the bottom constantly says no one cares about mc, only he does. MC did say “I love you” in the recent chapter, so it looks like the bottom got what he wanted and turned mc into his ideal lover.
what is up with koreans and their obsession with making the characters connected since childhood? this also happens a lot in kdramas, it’s so overused and doesn’t always add anything to the story
Im so happy to find someone who points out on this overdone cliche, its so annoying and changes my impression on the relationship on this specific part of their character to become bored
Im not hating it cuz I think its useless, I'm hating it cuz its just too much at this point. No matter if its a good or great story, connecting them to their childhood makes me go from :) to :/
