That being said, the art is really good and the story is compelling enough. There isn’t much payoff, though. I don’t read torture porn for the sake of torture porn and that’s what this felt like. Just showing bad scenario after bad scenario with no lessons being learned or redeeming qualities in the characters... Basically, I would have liked that payoff at the end; that improvement of quality of life. But it’s just sad, it made me feel sad, I don’t like feeling sad, so ... yeah. ╥﹏╥

The more I read this the more I don't like it. I was first drawn in by the amazing art... because it's amazing. But the writing and pacing and dialogue are so very annoying. It's completely unnecessary for this series to still be going. With all of the Shyamalan-worthy twists, it's become like a soap opera and I just don't care about it anymore.This whole thing could have and should have ended several chapters ago.
What's the point of Masato being a robot? He acts like a regular person with thoughts, feelings, memories, etc. Him being a machine serves no purpose. I wish they'd taken more steps to actually make him seem like one, maybe add some moral dilemma, and so on.
