Unemployed and just dumped by his girlfriend, MC buys a game called "Raising Lena" and finds himself trapped in the game and unable to leave until he beats the game. There are three rotating scenarios where he has to raise "Lena" as Leo.
First he enters a scenario where he's childhood friends with Lena and he is a hunter from a small village. This version of Lena aspires to be a priestess but also loves Leo dearly and either has to choose to give up becoming a priestess and marrying Leo.
Second scenario is that Lena and Leo are knights from the barbarian nation of Baltan(?) and has to participate in the war with the neighbouring nation.
Third, Lena & Leo are siblings and are street orphans but are secretly the prince and princess to the another kingdom whom were kidnapped and escaped into the current kingdom they are in. In order to prevent Lena from dying from sickness & starvation, he has to join gangs to earn money.
In every scenario, the clear condition is to raise Lena to become a princess- however, in every scenario it is very difficult for Lena to meet a prince, let alone marry them. The scenario ends whenever Leo marries Lena, Lena straying too far off the path to become a princess, or that Leo or Lena dies. After a scenario ends, MC is then forced into the next scenario endlessly.
Everytime MC fails, he gains a skill or item from how he lived his life and can use in the next attempt.
This takes a toll on MC, as he can never find happiness and peace if he does end up marrying Lena, and his immersion into the game as Leo increases... he also finds out later that he only as 20 tries and has completed 11/20 and has no idea what will happen if he doesn't clear it before then.
In every scenario, he progresses more and more based on previous lives and finds that all three scenarios are concurrent and are in the same world.
Why yall mad asf, like I don't know why people were expecting the story to treat both parties as equals. It was a contractual relationship from the start and it clearly had a power imbalance, and the story builds from there. People are mad because Jaekyung starts out shitty and Kim Dan (bless his soul) takes it all and is even supportive. But the whole point was that they gain character development and change for the better. If you kept reading just to hate cuz everyone else is hating then like.... read something else...
First of all, because the author showed that with BJ Alex they can write a good story.
Second of all, people are mad cuz author just threw Dan's "I always loved you" in - like what the fuck, he raped you for money and then he paid your medical bills, when exactly did Dan have time to fall in love with him and fall out of love with him?
The big problem with stories like these is, that you ultimately have readers who are not good at text apprehension.
Take you for example. You read some comments and assumed it was a certain way, while you obviously didn't understand anything that was commented. And that resulted in your incoherent rambling. That's pretty embarrassing for yourself and we all laugh about you. But you already knew that when you clicked 'Post'.
