I like this kind of setting, I understand his fears and paranoia. I like when the main character have their world turned upside down and they're facing new environments. Of course he's going to be annoying, everything in his fancy life was screwed over and he doesn't have a good adaptation system (?). He's spoiled and but in someways, pure. Also, I like the back and forth between the stoic handsome guy and the chaotic gremlin even if can be tiresome sometimes.

They’re cute af but at the very end in the extra, that trope makes me so sad when a character tries something with their appearance that makes them more attractive but the partner is like “no don’t do that I don’t want people seeing you be attractive” instead of trying to elevate their lover and boost their confidence etc, ESPECIALLY if the character is already the insecure type and not confident enough to argue back like “oh I know you liked that, don’t u wanna show me off? Hehe”, it’s basically like saying “you’re only with me cause no one else finds you attractive and if they do you’ll pick them so I wanna be your only option so I’ll knock you down if you try being more attractive” it feels so icky
