I think it might be a translation issue. Like, the author might be trying to convey the idea of “property” or “belongings” instead. Since in Korean language, words related to “property” or “possessions” can sometimes end up being translated as “collection” when put into direct translation, the intended meaning might have gotten lost along the way.

Finally, saw someone who understands that Eve is an adult too. I’ve seen people on other platforms still arguing about whether it’s predatory or not…like, I really feel like slapping the first few chapters right in their faces so they actually read properly.
Eve’s aging literally stopped the moment he discovered his powers. If I’m not mistaken, he’s already in his early 20s when Gozu first meets him, or at least around Gozu’s age. I remember seeing that info a long time ago on a JP platform when the story first came out.
I’m talking about fictional logic here, big brain. Based on the story itself and how the mangaka portrays it, his body stopped aging due to the rules of that fantasy world. Even if he looks like a teen, that doesn’t mean he can’t fall in love with someone around his own age.
And you coming in here throwing hate just makes you look like someone who doesn’t even understand basic concepts. There are real-life genetic conditions where people look much younger than they actually are, so you gonna say they can’t fall in love as well? And on top of that, this is FICTION & fictional rules don’t follow real-world limits.
Honestly, I kind of pity people like you who lack the imagination or basic understanding of how fiction works.
It’s sad that these days you can’t just enjoy stories with sensitive themes without people judging you or accusing you of being like the characters. Back then, people could just like what they liked without all this nonsense. But now? Apparently fiction can’t stay fictional for some people.
I keep seeing comments like, “Oh, you like this? You must be a pedo.” Bruh, relax. If I like vampire stories, does that make me a vampire too? If that’s the case, let’s all go read stories about billionaires and magically become one.

Yeah and thats just the recent one 7-7 People keep forgetting the good old rule of "dont like dont read" and that fiction isnt real life lmao Recently it happened in a manwha i was reading called Love in Hell. Its toxic af but I like it nonetheless. Whats funny is comments crying about it as if the title itself didnt give away that it wasnt a healthy happy romance lol People just love to complain here
Yeah, glad to know there are still people who understand the golden rules of fiction! There are a lot of people like them who think they’re full of morals and attack others over certain themes like in this story, but behind the scenes, they’re totally fine with grape and BDSM torture stuff. Like, seriously… (shrugs) We simply read to enjoy the plot and the character/relationship building. After that, we move on with our lives like normal. Yet they act like they’re the “good ones” and we’re somehow all bad…
( ̄へ ̄) speechless
RIGHT!? If it was a woman that looked like a literal child getting knocked up by a guy that appears more than half their age, it would be seen as unimaginable! But I feel as though same sex relationships in fictional setting dull the effect? Lowkey having a character in a relationship that looks like a child feeds into the pedo fantasy! There are creeps on this site that gets a kick out of this. And for everyone who say that "There are people with genetic conditions!? Are you saying that they can't be loved!?!?" You are right there is a difference in fiction and reality, but if you can rub your two miniscule brain cells together you would understand that it takes for a real life partnership of boundaries and understanding to make a relationship work and not have it broadcasted to creeps who gets off to it. The difference between fiction, it is normalised and is quite literally a breeding ground for child lovers! Remember, it was a CHOICE to make Eve look, and not only that, but ACT the way they do. This man's is creepy and a fetishists dream of child material. It is sick.
Eve doesnt even look that childish, he looks feminine. Also the power dynamic between Eve and Gozu is important too, Eve isnt a delicate flower lol Also you know how hypocritical you sound when your own username has BL? A genre full of "problematic stuff"? Its fiction, not real life. You dont get to play wannabe psychoanalyst and fail at it just to act like you're some moral warrior. Comparing this to literal CP actually minimizes the gravity of actual CP, not to mention that, again, Eve is AN ADULT. He doesnt even look that young, no one in the story even confuses him with a child but with a girl. If you dont like it so badly you can just, guess what? STOP READING and move on
Did you get lost from your circus? Yeah, everyone has their own opinions on different matters and genres we read, that’s that. Comments under a story are for debate regarding the story, not for attacking other users by throwing accusations just to pick a fight.
If you guys have so much “morals” and all that “good guy” energy, you shouldn’t be here, nor should you be on this site at all. If you have that many opinions to voice, go make your own comment section instead of picking on others’ comments and attacking them with a lack of knowledge.
Go get a life…
It looks like someone pulled out their alternate account just to pick a fight with us lol… how ironic XD
It’s okay, buddy. We have our own understanding of fictional values, and we enjoy them with our own conscience. No one is harmed in a fictional story, it’s all just part of the narrative. We enjoy them with equal standards, unlike those with double standards who think they’re saints full of morals.
Let’s just ignore them and enjoy the lovely story of Eve and Gozu (๑•ㅂ•)و✧
Guess that’s just how it is (shrug). I also hope they’ll eventually remove the comment section and only keep story voting. The comment section is what lets toxic people make the community look bad.
Since it’s still open, people can still comment, people can still reply… no matter how annoying it gets, that’s just how it is for now…Sigh
Are you guys serious right now? First you complain that he’s too girly, and now you’re saying he’s too whiny… FFS. If you don’t like this kind of uke, you’re free to leave and go find your “manly bottom” somewhere else…
Our baby Loneal is perfectly fine with his teary, cute huffs. And at the end of the day, it’s the artist’s freedom to draw their uke however they want. If you have issues with that style, then just go somewhere else.
Posting hate like that only makes you look like the whiny one here… ┑( ̄Д ̄)┍
If it’s safe to say that the mangaka of this story and the mangaka of The Bean Counter’s story might have some kind of friendship or collaboration going on like…planning similar themes or storyboards but with their own characters and plots…?
Although they’re not exactly the same, there are just too many similarities to ignore lol. That said, both stories are still very unique in their own ways, and I honestly enjoy them equally (=・ω・=)

If this gonna ended up similar with Sadistic Beauty BL sidestory ending but in reverse role… I gonna plank on the floor while drinking beer and eat fried chicken
