ummm in my knowledge it’s supposed to be 5 or more years of age gap for it to be considered pedo, but I think that if the other party is too young to date or not mature physically and mentally then yes, as long as its not uncomfortable

Many manga readers always assumes when a male character is older than the female character they would always say the male is a pedo.. vice versa

A pedophile is a person who has a sustained sexual orientation toward children, generally aged 13 or younger

A 15 years old is not a child anymore but an adolescent or teen even a 18 yrs old is a teen
So how can we call the 18yrs.old a pedo?
If they are having a relationship this is what we call a PUPPY LOVE

It's not considered pedophilia if your 2 or 3 years apart when one is age 18. I'd say 3 is kinda a stretch tbh. But if they are a freshman dating a senior I wouldn't consider that right because one is basically an adult and the other is still going to be in highschool for another 3 years plus whatever's left of this year

For a minor, your partner's age limits are either 2 years younger or older than you. And when you're a fully grown adult it's up to you alrt but no minors obvsly.

At 16 I believe is of age (for sexual activity's I think. tho this is might mainly just between teenagers and 18yo) I don't think they are pedophile but I do think that at a certain age gap is a stretch that shouldn't be crossed. 15 ig might be fine. 16 would be better understanding. Anything under 15 would just be a big no. Because ones mind is still in progress and needs more knowledge before hoping into relationships especially with older people which can lead into major things like manipulation since it would be easier to decive someone younger without any common knowledge

Good question! I was wondering the same thing. The plot is usually so rushed and so cliche and i feel like the characters are lacking in common senses. Especially the female characters...( I am sorry for saying this Chinese manhwa authors

story is often about a innocent girl which gets bullied by everyone. sometimes also by the rich malelead till he falls for her- the 'target group' are young girls china. in china the value of girls is very tiny compared to men. china also had this 'one-child' policity (now 2child or not?). its not allowed but rumors say that female fetuses are often aborted... only a son can support the family (something like this lol). so I think irl girls/women are often treated very bad. so they must feel like the main-chara form such stories- bullied by everyone and rescued by future husband (the sisters in such stories are often step- or halfsisters).

Yeah I agree with u :( when I want to read romance in chinese novel , everything I found is about a weak pretty girl with her super rich boyfriend :( and thats annoy me . But I'm glad I found wonderfull chinese novel with good worldbuilding, good story telling ,etc , eventhoug the genre doesnt have romence in there
