First i would killed that old shit asap, second why the fuck this story still countinues, it should have wrapped up with opening a cafe, being lovely dovey etc. Like the last season even match with the whole story concept.
It's called showing what's beyond the "happily ever after". The grandpa is literally showed in the first season. He's also a crucial character and plus some of us are actually interested to see what happens after their good life. This is when the chaos starts to unravel itself. If you don't like it, don't read it. It's only for the people that actually understand how ts goes.

Yeah, the grandpa was introduced in the earlier seasons, but depicting him like this was straight-up shit; it ruined what was otherwise a really sweet story. It might be okay for you, but definitely not for me.
You know what i didnt felt sorry about him. Actually i did not feel anything about this chapter in particular. After all those 60-70 chapter (dont know exact number) of him being total scumbag, it is just not convincing enough, sorry. And i think actual problem is not how it ends but how author portraid him all this time. He was not a man with tragic background and bad personality, he was the evil at some point in the story, like wtf
