the ML who is a pos, and fl is very pitiful and ml is trying to isolate her from everyone in the name of love/hate due to their childhood. But if I’m being honest, I blame her mom for everything, because genuinely why would you put your daughter into this mess and her ghost has the nerve to tell her to stay alive. For what? To suffer? Obviously she’s trying to survive but ml is not making it easy

what I mean by the inconsistencies is that the way the FL acts, I’m aware she’s very hesitant on leaving because she knows he’ll kill the people she cares about. The ml also has this weird thing about how much he hates her because of her mothers lies, to still loving her then hates her again then loves her again. The fl also goes from wanting to escape by either running away or dying to still staying with him, which I get it’s not her fault bc ml finds her. I know she’s not a dumb character if she’s capable of manipulating ml and the empress, and she has the awareness that people in her life are eventually going to betray her (except the girl hair girl so far) since they’re in some way working for the ml. It just gets annoying when she falls for it when she’s being warned.
I do wish she held what Favien told her about her not being responsible for what her mother did more to heart and she saw illusions of him cuz she feels guilty . I just miss him so much lol.
I think the only person who remains the same is the maid with glasses, because from the beginning you know she doesn’t like the fl so even if she’s nice a few moments it doesn’t change how she really feels about her.
So yeah, ml sucks, but the fls and mls mom and the old emperor are responsible for this. And they’re dead so they can’t even be hold accountable

I don’t think I’ve disliked a fl so much since I’ve sadist beauty. Not as bad as her but not as likable either. These last few chapters weren’t even steamy hot just very depressing for my taste and this is coming from someone who likes men crying.
