Dandadan is super similar as the above user said and is made by one of his assisants. Also try Aftergod, Dorohedoro(and all of her other works, Dai Dark is very good) Desert Punk(old school but the MC is SO similar), Fools Night, and Choujin X
Also a fairly new manga that reminded me of CSM was Wild Strawberry. There's only 3 chaps though.

I think it started out when KS was still tagged as Yaoi. I mean a tag and a genre has a lot of effect in how to perceive a story.
Unpopular opinion it will always be a yaoi because of the gay context even if it was rape or trauma bonding. People romanticize it because of yoonbum feelings for Sangwoo and how hot Sangwoo is.
If Sangwoo was ugly the manga would never have been popular.
