I have been in the same situation and his "manipulative" attitude is very expected with that kind of past traumas. the comments saying he doesn't deserve the MC because he is manipulative hurts me too because i feel the same and it feels like the comments are pertaining to me too haha!

This might be confusing but as you may notice there are no chapter 14 written in here. But the chapter is organized. I was confused too at first but it seems that the original uploader didn't put the prologue and makes it a chapter ahead in the WeComics. Chapter 13 here is Chapter 14 there. So it kinda confuses me too but it is all set.
