xi was such a fucking asshole. i'm shocked that gu tang went back to him in the end, like i get that they have a child together, but the amount of shit gu tang had to endure for xi can't be amended with a simple apology (not that xi ever even apologized for all the abuse his lover underwent cause of him but whatever). like girl, LEAVE HIS ASS AND GAIN CUSTODY OF YOUR CHILD. LIVE HAPPILY WITHOUT HIM. gu tang did so much for xi and forgave him so easily despite his mistreatment, and yet xi had the AUDACITY to doubt gu tang's love for him MULTIPLE TIMES. UGH. so frustrating
