kinda yeah, in the novel she's a domestic abuse victim who lives consistently in fear unlike in the manhwa where she's basically in charge of the guy who found her so i stopped reading it
is it just me but every time i see the duke i shudder in annoyance, he's like a pest that won't go away no matter what he's so annoying
i hope the manhwa would change its plot from the novel because from the spoilers i've read, the duke and duchess get back together which is utterly ridiculous and shit. the whole time i was reading the duchess' thoughts, i felt like crying. she was starved to have a divorce and basically only agreed to it finally so her maid won't suffer anymore. then, she wants to have a shot of happiness before she suffers to another marriage but the duke is here yet again, interfering. like wtf. the only time he had sex with her was when he wanted it and as soon as he's done pleasuring himself, he'd leave her. he didn't even kiss her. now cue present, he had the guts to tell her that she should've told him about her needs. like wtf do he think their sex should've been? he was the only one supposed to feel pleasure?????? plus he was the one who planned and even made her suffer to get a divorce but now that she wants her own happiness, he gets jealous at the thought of her being with another man that she tricked her that he's someone else. i really hope that the duchess would get together with the blonde knight in the manhwa instead of the duke because he gave her nothing but pain. but my hopeful thinking would be probably impossible. but here's to manifesting that cemi would be the male lead in the manhwa instead of the duke because the duke is a huge piece of shit.

both princesses have no combat abilities while the ml is apparently this great knight. they both literally threw themselves in danger just to keep screaming his name. dumb as hell. should've just hid. instead of fighting off the wyverns, the ml has to keep on looking for whoever's screaming his name. and i hate the ml, god i so need that brown haired knight to be the ml instead.
