What’s up with Yoon’s father and Jooyoung? The author didn’t really touch on it, but I assumed that he was human and turned into a vampire when Jooyoung gave him Nux’s blood because he wanted him to live for eternity, but after reading chapter 51.5, that can’t be it because Nux’s blood doesn’t turn humans into vampires and the only way to become a vampire is to be born in the vampire realm or to awaken as one, so wtf? I don’t get it. Yoon’s father was a vampire. Don’t they already live eternally? I’m pretty sure I remember Jooyoung saying something about them not dying unless killed, so why would he need to be given Nux’s blood to do that? And was Jooyoung in love with Yoon’s father romantically? And who was Yoon’s human mother? Good story, but so many things left answered. This thing should’ve been at least 50 chapters longer to fill in background info.
I’m in tears. I want Yoon and Jooyoung to stay together as a family. He said that he’d see again before he died, and like wtf? What about email, FaceTime, Zoom??? Jooyoung and Yoon’s father/son relationship >>>>> everyone else.
And why is Jooyoung so gorgeous, omgggg... I want a spin-off of him just bossing ppl around, thinking about Yoon, and sitting around being a bad bitch. He’s everything.
I was already thinking that I don’t really like the director, AND THEN chapter 4 happened, and wtf? He’s forcing him to date him? Bad start. He’s so creepy. I’ll keep reading for a bit more, but I’m kind of over reading stories where I hate one half of the pair, so I might end up dropping this soon.
Came straight over here to read where it left off. So much happened. Finally finding out Kyo’s connection to Kyoko, Hatsuharu and Rin finding each other again, seeing Tohru’s father, Kyoko’s death, which was excruciating to read, Haru almost bearing the shit out of Akito (if only...), Tohru and Kyo finally confessing their feelings, the curse breaking, everyone moving on, etc. I loved it, tbh. Bittersweet to have it end.
I will say that I wish Kyoko and Kyo would’ve continued their friendship. Like, what if Kazuma and Kyoko had met and fell in love? Tohru and Kyo could’ve still fell in love, and she could’ve still developed relationships with the rest of the family and searched for the curse. Reading how Kyoko died and seeing her thoughts as she begged Kyo to look after her daughter was so hard. I wish she had lived.
Anyway, thinking about reading the sequel, but that’ll be sometime later.
The spinoff is pretty interesting. Akito definently changed in the spin off. After having a son she 100% changed. It's kinda fucked up because people target her son for something she did in the past. Like really going after a child that has nothing to do what happened between the adults is fucked up. They would leave nasty notes for him about Akito which pissed him off. He still loves her even though she told him what she has done to people. I mean they did things that Akito never got to do with her father or mother. When they do have family gatherings Akito doesn't go to them because she doesn't trigger anything that happened in the past. She definently raised her son to be a good person. Don't worry he(son) has his cousins to help him too. So yeah her son didn't grow up like her.
Where did the tattoo on Jae Moon’s chest suddenly come from? This story is a mess. I’m still reading it because I like the main couple, but I wish the actual story was written better. Like, Jae Moon hasn’t even asked him about sleeping with his cousin. Why wouldn’t he bring that up? The story is too rushed, and there are too many unanswered questions. Plus, I think some of the translations are off, or things are getting lost in translation. Idk.
i so agree! i love the idea of the plot so much and was really excited about it reading the first few chapters but it just feels so rushed and everything moves so quickly. I feel like the author didn’t have anyone review it or something. Man :(. i still appreciate the story though it just sucks it isn’t executed better since it’s such a nice idea
wdym sleeping with his cousin? i really don’t remember that but the tattoo was self explanatory. they were in the middle of talking about marking eachother and he goes on to do it and thats where the mark came from. imo its not really rushed but you have to pay attention or you’ll miss something.
I actually got lost with their familial connections. Quite confusing, I think.
