Why is people pressed when characters are too forgiving . Like I get you being angry for them but hating nice people??? Do you hate nice people IRL? I can't imagine myself having enough patience to be that nice, but if I know someone that nice I'd love them sm. I'll protect them from the world
Anyways FL isn't doing nothing js bc she's nice and forgiving, she just came to terms on the fact that she was written as a villainess and during the game timeline, whatever she do she'll become the bad one. It's her fate to always be seen as bad. Ex/ the time she tried to help the og FL. And the more she fight it, the more trouble will come. Sometimes there's nothing better to do other than nod and accept. People who hasn't been in said state couldn't relate and I'm happy for you. But for some of unlucky us, we know better. It's better to hold on for a while and then be free.
Also for pacing, I get it's a bick quick. I guess it's because the author only has limited number of chapter and pages. Usually manga author has contract with the producer and sometimes they get limits, unlike authors who draw only for online publishing. Because printing books are expensive

The thing is she’s justified kinda in her forgiveness, bc I think like her too lowkey, I always take into account why people do stuff and what led them to do it, bc people are a product of their environment so it’s hard to not forgive them when you understand and know why they act they way they do Yk? I get called a push over or like too nice smts but I think it’s just empathy and genuine understanding of humans? Like you can forgive but you don’t have to forget like just bc I forgave someone for being rude to me doesn’t mean I’m gonna let them stay in my life Yk? I really wish more people had more genuine empathy and understanding of others. In the story we can also see Eileen be cautious of her bully at first, but after hearing them out she decides to help them and better themselves

I like how the problem isn't a complicated, competition of the smartest, or overly political. Yet at the same time it's not some simple meaningngless problem that gets too overcomplicated. Yes, there might be some political factors here and there, but it is not the main issue, rather it's more of the fuel to the fire, or actually the firestarter itself.
The pacing is just right. It is a slowburn, but it is not told in a long unwinded way. They put some time skip here and there to show that the characters spent quite a long time with their problem, but it doesn't drag us readers down with fillers.
For people wishing for Winter's doom or the like, I disagree and hope that you actually read the story to the end. His backstory, though not justifying his actions, makes his behaviors understandable. Even later on, he will say his mistakes out loud and ask for forgiveness (very later on). I could go on about Winter and him as a person and his development, but I digress and implore you to actually read.
I think both of the character development is written so well. How both of them affect each other and how they try to improve and adjust to their partner is very nicely portrayed.
Their development isn't rushed and is actually with a lot of problems. For me, I like it the most how their problems (aside from the tribe and curse) is something happening a lot in real life, but in these days we are just to busy on our own to notice it. Aside, from the body switch and stuff, their way of dealing it is very, human. We can see them being vulnerable, even though they are very powerful people. Very refreshing compared to other characters who just wave their hand and said everything can be solved with money, because in fact, Winter learned that money is almost worth nothing when faced with Violet. We can see them slowly resolving their problems, one stepping stone at a time. We can see even though they are healing, they still are anxious. It's very, non-fantasy of them, and that makes the story very close to my heart.
Overall, I think the story is quite heavy. But not in the sense that you have to think so hard your head will explode. It's more of you having the patience to get to know the character and improve along with them. Because I know I learned a thing or two while suffering with Violet. I know that I can't be so quick to judge, or to loose my temper. I had always known that a story has many sides, but Winter and Violet taught me to actually sit down, listen, and see. They might not be the best at talking but the got there, and they helped me along with them.
I'm so sorry this review had gotten so long but TLDR; Read it, it's definitely worth it (just need better translation on some of the chapters lol)

I feel like this manwha is too rushed. Esp the ending. Like, i saw ch 72 as last chapter but when i open ch 68 there was this whole revelation and awakening and stuff stuffed into arguably 3 chapters bcs the last one is epilogue basically. This manwha could've been much better if it was drawn/written more slowly. Not saying that it should've been a slow burn. But, the artists could've spared more little sections where the fl and ml bonded (business works and stuff not counted) instead of suddenly jumping on them kissing and stuff. And the out of pocket declaration makes it seem like this is some weird ahh manwha with red flags walking everywhere.
This manwha is tagged with romance, but the romance isn't quite there, yk what i mean? Like I've read stories where the romance is the side quest but it's still expressed better than this.
It would've been nice if Ayla's relationship with her family is given more parts too yk, bcs it feels like it wasn't explained and contemplated enough by Ayla herself. It was just like "i didn't mean to abandon u child" and Ayla was like "ok we good." We could've gotten a better found family trope .
Instead of these parts that i mentioned i feel like we spend too much panels on unimportant fillers(?). I mean i appreciate the funny fillers and sometimes humor, but a lot of the panels are just useless thinking that's been shown like what? 5 times? And it's just from Ayla's side.
The realization where Killian finally understand his feeling is too rushed and the hit was not quite hitting. Also i feel like some characters are just put there for nothing and then dissapeared, no explanation. Or sometimes a character just pops outa nowhere just to deliver information, but at the same time the character felt like they don't belong in the story.
Overall, i quite like the plot, it was good, could've been written better. I also like the dynamics, but again not enough interaction to make these dynamics shine. Idk what the novel is like but I already feel like Tokyo Ghoul Manga fans when they watch the anime. You know it could've been great, but shit delivery
