I wish it would be the end... maybe one more chapter in the near future, where both of them live a separate life's, happy and sound...but of course author will take a cliche trope and will make sure they would end up together...like any other bl manhas nowadays...
Is it a crime to want a happy ending with them being together? He's changing, he's human, most importantly he's trying.

He SA Kim Dan for god sake. Trying? Changing? What a joke. The man had to see him getting stabbed and bleeding to death to finally shed a couple tears and finally have a conscience?. Poor boy was dying and THAT’S where he drew the line?! Authors and readers are getting too comfortable romanticizing SA and abuse in relationships. Having a hard life doesn’t mean that you can trample over people’s life’s and be justified. Kim Dan is so traumatized that the only think he thought about upon loosing consciousness and regaining it was the freaking match…this is a horror story. Poor grandma and our baby Kim Dan

Also may I remind that the plot of the whole thing was Dan agreeing to this sick and twisted condition of a Jinx. Knowingly and willingly as an Adult (older by horse man over there). Should he be a shit to Dan? No, isn't an excuse but AGAIN, he went into this situation KNOWING and taking his share (of money, which was agreed upon).
Kim Dan is haunted by his own narrative same as Jaekyung. Horse man over here isnt a saint, no one is excusing the shit he did, BUT he is actively changing in a reasonable phase than what most authors do which is insta change (rarely and barely does happen).
Also he didnt start changing when Dan was stabbed, idk if u missed the whole "He went out of the city" arc and didnt see how this egotistical jerk finally started realizing he's been so shit and was slowly trying to change for a SLIVER of a chance, which now he isn't even forcing bc he knows he caused harm. "Oh but he was still rude" well it wouldve been a fuckin miracle if he suddenly turned new leaf which in writing would suck more.
Again, No one is excusing Abuse, if you don't like stories with this genre then dont read it, read your fluffy light stories. But for the love of god, if you cant recognize changing/ realization arcs which shows how true humans are irl (where we all change ) then maybe don't impose on ppl who read it for the development of the story.

2. they got themselves a lil cabin
3. met this weird old man who tells major kwak he's the perfect mutant and is basically immune to every virus
4. it ends with major sending dr.seok back to russia while he gets executed but gets saved by major lee then he pretends to be crippled for 5 months before going to find dr.seok in russia again. Major lee's mother becomes the new prime minister of rainbow city
regarding my third point
major won't realize until later in the story where he gets a flashback
