You know I've never been a hater of this series, I've actually enjoyed the trip with an open mind but this wasn't the ending I was expecting.
Like Mingwa said, making a character unlikable and then escalating from that because the redemption is sweeter that way... I was just expecting to have more than a few panels of JJ smiling and blushing. I'm well aware he cried his eyes out the last chapter but even after that, he never said I love you back.
Im just saying we had to endure the whole "rocky start" and also a rocky development for the redemption arc to just be him crying and hugging Dan.
I really need to see him being really loving and giving if there are side stories, otherwise I'm gonna be real mad. This is not the character development I was expecting...
We can see the rocky start but great redemption in BJ Alex, for example. Jiwon was an awful person to DG, and he suffered a lot for it. But then we had so much of their relationship developing, him saying sorry in plenty of ways and actually being loving for a good last portion of the work makes it all worth it. I can't say the same here.
I read another person post saying that the lists are supposed to be back already. If your stuff is not back yet, then that means you just didn't tagged or rated any manga. That's a real bummer because I really don't tag anything, I just save stuff to get notifications when a manga uploads or have a list of things i want to read. Though I completely understand that this was a physical problem and probably nothing can be done, but it's a real shame. Well, gonna start adding everything again lolol.
