Assorted Wildness
The plot really piqued my attention, but sometimes I had no clue what was going on. It ended so soon, yet it was really fun to read. Also, the art style is really captivating, and the color palette used gives a warm feeling. Mongryong is so cute too. I really like his personality. His personality, his silly antics, and his willingness to do whatever it takes to protect his sister. Jeha, on the other hand, is simply adorable. I found it wholesome when Jeha let his guard down when he's with Mongryong. I really like how their relationship slowly progresses. I really like it when both of them don't realize that they love each other. Also, I simply love the dedication of Sunghyun to the things he puts up with to help Mongryong but my only problem with this is that it does become a bit boring midway and near the end as personally to me if felt like it was being dragged out.
On or Off
The art style is different from what is typical of the genre, and I have to say it suits the story well! This is a wholesome comic with likeable characters that you're drawn to. You experience a lot of secondhand embarrassment when reading On or Off but I think that's part of the charm. Also props for having diverse side characters, it's rare to see Black and brown people in the BL genre. Although I will say around the end I did get a tiny bit bored as I was waiting for it to update weekly and completely lost track of what was happening I would still say that this is definitely a good read , if I was to read this again definitely in the far future to completely erase this from my memory and have this experience again!
My Suha
A lot of wasted potential. It was a story that if developed well could give a lot. The first part of the manhwa really deserves a lot. It had the right amount of comedy and drama. Interesting overall. The drawing got better and better as the story progressed and was therefore an enjoyable read. Unfortunately, however, I have the feeling that the story has been stretched too much: in addition to a great confusion that is being created, the ML is really becoming too obsessive and possessive. The MC deserves more, after what he's been through. Also considering the fact that the ending with !spoiler! The interaction with the ML’s parents was useless and unnecessary, I get he may have wanted closure but he should’ve done something ! Anything ! Like maybe show them he doesn’t need them anymore , show how successful and happy he’s become any type of petty revenge would’ve been satisfying as I believe they don’t even deserve forgiveness for running off and having other kids really irked me there…
Cherry Blossoms After Winter
the art is amazing, and the characters and plot are rlly cute, but at the start of the 3rd season, all they do is get it on, and it kinda took a lot away from the cute, sappy, wholesome moments we used to see before. I'd also like to point out the relationship is cute, but i feel like the author dragged it out for way too long, and the plots kinda not there anymore. it's more abt their college life and their daily routine, which kinda gets boring, but don't get me wrong, the story of childhood friends to lovers is super cute and their relationship is cute and completely consensual which is one of my main things
Boss in School
Im surprised I finished it bitter sweet ending mostly bitter kinda forced myself to read it as it was getting repetitive and boring with the dragging story line they could’ve just squeezed this into a 80 chapter sotry rather than 100+. I thought throughout the book the art style would get better but it stayed the same I’m not usually one to complain about art style as I know how much effort and time it takes to draw a single panel but I’m not a huge fan of this type of art style.
season 1 was great and had so much potential as a story ,season 2 was alright I lost interest cause it felt like a whole other story and the main plot line was getting boring it took me about a month and a bit to come round finishing season 2 as it felt like a task rather than my own will to read but nonetheless I quite still enjoyed it I hope when I read the second story it’ll be much better plot wise.
Love is not real
So I’ll probably continue this on the raws since it’s not complete atm but from what we have so far I would say it’s a decent story , the plot did thought seem kind of rushed and all over the place but once you get through it it’s a good enough read although the black haired guy needs to understand that his actions are wrong and what consent is…. The white haired guy is way too forgiving , but I’m alright with them reconciling in the end so I would give this a 3/5=6/10.
When The Yakuza Falls Inlove
All is good in this series except the ml’s leg tattoo. That is the weirdest tattoo i’ve ever seen. I literally swipe faster whenever they show his leg tattoo. I’m sorry it’s just not it. I’m glad they got rid of it and honestly I feel quite sorry to the artist since I know everyone else was complaining till they removed it.
The Story is average I mean I’ve read better stuff before it was quite boring that I did drop this for a whole month, romance is rushed I don’t really see the spark in their relationship but I guess there’s something there, the kid is hella cute (the only reason to read, tbh), I don’t really complain about translations since I know it’s a very time consuming task but it was so off around chapter 40 to where I became extremely confused on what was going on. Honestly I don’t really recommend to anyone since it was only good around the first couple of chapters , I definitely won’t ever read this again too which makes me feel disappointed as I really wanted to like this as much as everyone else.
Holiday
Besides from the random rape at the very beginning, it’s nice to see a different type of uke whose dark skinned and buff , definitely giving credits for that, it was a good read besides the rape part and I would love if it was longer because I wanted the other guy to proclaim his love for the uke but regardless I’d give it a 3/5 just because the art and plot was good but it definitely would’ve been higher without the rape.
The Rib of Adam (Jinmi)
this is more like revenge porn than i think i can analyze further. it's pretty...symbolical but also at what extent will you detest someone enough to dip them in such shit that they'd know to learn a lesson they can't ever learn? that's pretty much how the ending almost portrays his development. he never learned because, somehow, he has no capacity to. so pretty much no solution for him and all of this is just a sick play on a "hot" punishment. cause, come on. he was dogshit, so karma thrown back at him will still be dogshit.
