Sorry what about the egg at pg 32???? LMAO what that supposed to mean
I'm not really sure about what the author means here, but in my traditions...rubbing a fresh egg towards a bruise or somewhere hurt gonna heal you for a bit. And when we done rubbing the egg, try to pop them. The fresh egg will turn black and something dark. Like it means the egg has pulled the pain from your body.
I might be wrong, but this what happened in my tradition. Hope this helps you!
Does anyone have any theory about the title? I get the "hounds" part, but why Sisyphus? Is it a common expression? Thanks
Sisyphus was a king in greek mythology who was punished by the gods and sent to the underworld to forever roll a giant boulder up a very steep hill that would roll down as soon as he made it to the top for all eternity. hes an example of hopelessness and endless work so maybe there will be a reference to him / his story?
