Maxi knows she’s the triangulated, black sheep of the family, why would she go back to the place she was mentally and physically abused all her life. If you think the sister had a good life, you’d be completely wrong, since we’re seeing this through Maxi’s eyes, they have the same father.
Bjorn was truly horrified of her nearly died giving birth to the child but dealt with it in the worst way by getting rid of every trace of the baby, making Erna think he hated the child by not mourning him properly with her. AND letting her deal with it on her own! She was supposed to smile like a porcelain doll after going through a traumatic event like that?
That whole monologue about losing the baby he could have said out loud, he’s right on the cusp of processing the grief of the child and almost losing Erna.
They are both in so much pain but Erna owes him nothing!! So why must he be so arrogant.
