In China's online literary world, there is a super common type of trope that has gained popularity in the past 2,3 years called "the system trope". In this trope, the main is usually an ordinary person in the modern world, who for some reason got hooked and attached to a "system" (the pig, for example) and may or may not go to another world/dimension (or multiple worlds in some cases) to complete a bunch of missions that the "system" assigned to them, and they could be punished for not completing said missions.
