I know rightt they should've did some artisan work and divided it up into tinier jewels that would fit a bracelet and make it such that it could be extended when her wrist gets thicker.
I also thought the same thing! But then he explained that it was originally from a necklace, which he couldn't give to her yet based on tradition. It would have been better if he just found a different bracelet to give her since there's no real emotional significance to this blue one (like it was from her mother, for example), but at least they gave an explanation for why it was so uselessly large

This sum fucked up storyline, yea. But this is FICTION, and WE SHOULD KNOW AND IDENTIFY THAT. The main couple were so cute, but we do realize the problem in their relationship, and therefore condemn it IN REAL LIFE. Nobody in their sane mind would support this type of toxic relationship in the real world.
Plus the characters' reactions to rape and abuse were so unrealistic. Do u know why? BECAUSE IT'S FICTION.（/TДT)/. The author clearly made it that way so the story would trail on the path he/she wants it to go.
Some of u hates it, some of u loves it. That's it. U do not have to shove ur "honest opinions" on to people's throat and call them names just for liking the story. There can be thousands of reasons to like a story (i like this one because the ml srsly looks like a greek god ugh).
And please, stop making it seem like u guys are so smart and upright just coz u point out things that all people clearly see in the story (i mean, it is explicitly told yeah? People are not as dumb as u think. And they can still like it despite all of those mainly because it's FICTION)
Despite loving the story, in the end we can and will still condemn abuse and rape, just like how a normal person would. Just because they loved the story doesn't already mean they are a psychopath or anything. Jeez. If u hate it then leave, if u love it then stay. Easy as that.
