Are ya kidding me? It's so obvious with their feelings and the connection is really strong.

Completely personal but I actually don't identify at all with the stories depicting love as some fated thing and it's bond to happen no matter what between two people.
I think to have a deep connection, you gotta work on it. Not hold on pretty ideas of the other from afar. You need to talk and spend time together.
They haven't been close before the start of the story, so of course they have a whole relationship to build. But I love reading about that. As for compatibility and 'spark', I think they totally got that.

Its kind of relevant to todays time dont you think, where nowadays *most* people will confess to others purely based upon attraction at first. And when they discover more about each other thats when you either build a lifetime together, break up, divorce etc. And in an asian culture that has the mandatory school where you grow up with the same people essentially, and then the military, and careers/college in between, i wonder if romanticizing love in a one meeting, lets see where it goes thing, is more practical for them.

It may just be a cultural thing but this is how they normally start dating in Korea. (I'm studying in Korea for almost 4 years now so I know a bit on how they date..) They start dating when they sense that they like each other then form a deeper connection.
However, the world is big and each of us has a different perspective when it comes to dating.
If you're not feeling it after knowing Korean culture, maybe the creator's style of delivering emotions in her drawing didn't reach you? I'm asking because I'm curious. There are some art styles that failed to emotionally deliver the story for me but the other readers were feeling it. I'm not saying the art is bad (some are popular). It's all about preferences at this point. ╮( ̄▽ ̄)╭
