Yeah they can, theres some works I've found on here I otherwise wouldn't have seen and I plan on purchasing their physical copies when they're avaliable in the US. There's also authors who wish people could buy their work but still love their work is being read at all. The author of blind play doesn't really love their story they just love the money, it ain't new for them all their works are like this.
