i think you may have confused boredom with internalized homophobia cuz Endo's main issue was that when you act nice or be good, people would respond in a typical manner which he found "very boring & predictable". with all of that boredom, it was a genuine fresh breath of air for Endo when he met Takiishi & became obsessed with his unpredictability. Not to mention, he didn't seem to have any issue with liking guys upon meeting Takiishi.

Robin is such a refreshing mc. He is very much a "goes with the flow" guy but also I love how he is all flustered and pining after his best friend now instead of thinking of things like "Oh no I like a guy kyaa" or whatever. The first time I wish there was a second male lead or something because MC deserves way better. Even if they don't end up together at the end there would be at least some regret from ml's side. The relationship b/w Vince and Aryka feels really one sided imo.
