I disagree. There were several panels that were dedicated to Nio suddenly becoming aware that Suou had become an adult (when he was in college and well BEFORE the first sex scene). So he was no longer seeing him as a child, but not yet seeing him as his sexual partner.

Suou was the one who made the first move on Nio, taking Nio by complete and utter surprise. Suou was not remotely awkward the next (he had long wanted Nio to be his) day while Nio was shocked still by what happened (he had never thought of Suou as a sexual partner).

There is no pedophilia.
1. They are both adults with Suou at 18 and Nio around 26-27.. aka legal age of consent plus extra
2. Nio had NEVER groomed or looked at Suou as a sexual being or partner.
3. Nio recognised Suou as being adult when he started college and also when his work colleague suggested they be a pair (note: he was 18 and not a child).
4. AFTER Suou joined Nio in his heat, Nio was shocked and overwhelmed and totally flustered because NOW he was seeing Suou as a sexual person. He began a lot of soul searching and avoidance.
5. Why do you read a story like this if you are so easily triggered?

I really suggest you understand what grooming and pedophilia is before you make the mistake of incorrectly assuming in real life and get sued for libel.

I just feel the contradiction from your words , like he never saw him as an adult until he became a one and he always saw his as a child , but at the same time he loves him in a sexual way when he grow up ? Like how this happene?
Plus the story was too heartwarming for me at the beginning and I liked the parent-child relationship.
I read this is story because it was interesting for me to discover new things or how would writers think in a different way , we don't always read something we like. We just have to be aware of things we weren't aware of before.

There isn’t any contradiction that I see. Suou was always a loved child who brightened his life. Then, Suou starts college and has college friends who like him making Nio realise hey, he has grown up.

Then his co worker said they make a cute couple as did all those people on their day out so he starts to look at him, but it’s awkward.

Then he gets the heat and Suou who has always wanted to be adult and be with Nio is moved to make a move. The heat and Suou’s eyes captivate Nio and he gives over to the sex

Next day, omg, what did I do?! But now, even though Suou is calm and unfazed, Nio sees him as sexual (ofc they just bonked all night) and runs from it in confusion. Goes on marriage dates, avoids it etc.

You ask how can it change? It took time and separation and soul searching for Nio to be sure. As I said, also hints of fated mates.

Even if you don’t like the feeling change to romantic love, I hope you can see by the timeline, there was no grooming. No pedophilia. It’s not traditional, but they both are good for (and to). Each other

Totally understandable. But at least you can know this author tried hard to avoid grooming and tacky pedo stuff while still adhering to that old tale mentioned of raising the perfect mate.

I haven’t read this yet, but when I saw the cover I thought that it meant the main couple would have a child and quickly realized that it could be some sort of age gap type thing when I saw that the kid and the older adult looked fairly similar. I looked at the tags and saw ‘age gap’ then scrolled down to the comments and saw this lovely comment about how it’s pedophilia. Sooo I’m just gonna take ur word for it, and not read it. It looks like pretty good art but it’s not worth it if I feel I might get a tad bit offended. So thanks, if you think I should read it I suppose I’d be up for it, but I’m not trying to risk anything and come to hate this and want to comment something that could potentially start a quarrel. Ya know?

Thank you for ur insight. I read it and there is literally nothing wrong with it. No insest or pedophilia. I mean the sudden development in their relationships was kinda weird, but their relationship itself is completely fine and valid. He was above the age of 18 when stuff started happening, and when he (uke) started developing feelings. It was a cute story :)
