Haven't read the novel.. but opposed to most I like this adaption lol. The mc did act like a child at first and that did and still gets me irritated, but the relationship is kind of clear. ML wants someone to submit completely to him, at work, out of work and in bed. MC is ready to understand ML's world even if he's only doing this out of love. Also, pretty obvious that the MC has maso- tendencies, I just don't like the fact that they're portraying every decision he takes as a doubtful one.. not sure if I like THAT part. But other than that looks great to me. Feels like because of the way MC grew up, he's willing to devote his whole self to his partner. And as crazy and toxic as that may seem, I think it's a parameter some relationships are okay with or, even, require.
Their bond is perfect, there's healthy communication, a genuine and secure love and such a healthy sexual life. Not just healthy but also much more attractive sexual panels than those whose sole purpose is to get you off. The story is interesting even without mind-fucks and toxic characters. I love this story so much (づ ̄ ³ ̄)づ
This is infuriating. I hate it so much, the second arc is crazy-irritating and it's making my skin crawl. It would've been better if it was more simple and clear, him acting this way and him going accordingly by what she said about her appearance (aka her sister's) makes this story soooooo infuriating. Also her being shy and trying her hardest not to let him know?? Why? The oldest brother is dead, the woman she works for obviously knows about her, he seems to be looking for her, so what's the point of this incredible slow burn?? God damn it
Well... imho though...

I guess spoiler alert(?)

1. Why is he acting accordingly to what she said what her appearance is?
Super simple. Its because he didn't know anything else about Paula's appearance. And the easiest way to search for a single person amongst millions? It's appearance.
Lukas died so he cant help, Violet is too busy to even see her son, and Ethan is the one that helps her run away, no way he's going to help plus a few more reasons in the future why Ethan can't help.
2. Why is she so shy?
She is super duper insecure and think of herself as the ugliest person in the world. Like she didn't want to "destroy" Vincent's image of her. Like she can't imagine what vincent would feel, imagining her to be someone so beautiful only to discover that the maid he treasures is an ugly peasant (her words not mine). She is scared and I think everyone with teribble insecurity can agree with her.
3. The woman she works for didn't know her. Btw, she works for the princess Joel(iirc?), who never saw "paula" at all. She only knows "Anne" She might have the feeling but she can't be sure.
4. The point of the slowburn?
Well there's no point. Its just the genre of the novel, and the result of the action that the characters took....which I think made a lot of sense.
Why does Yuta want revenge on him?.. I don't get it lol. Is it because he was that good of a person that it made his twisted world feel shameful? I don't get it
Nope latest chapter reveal seunghyun did sort of lead him on unintentionally or intentionally idk what goes on in his head but not a priority since he has his priority straight but I think seunghyun has his own idea as to why yuta is doing what he's doing. Yuta's reason seems more integral and seunghyun has no idea about that. Yuta's reasoning seems more life altering tbh I don't think it's a simple one

A masterpiece. Does anyone have the link to the author's ig or tik tok? I want to keep following them.
